Description
Brunkow Family Lamb offers the finest chops, racks, legs, shanks and burger.
Glenn, Jennifer, Tatum and Isaac Brunkow are the fifth and sixth generations on our Pottawatomie County Flint Hills ranch. Jennifer's Grandfather Wayne Gatlin is the inspiration for our sheep flock. Isaac and Tatum started our sheep operation with 4-H lambs and it has grown to over 70 ewes now. Isaac was one of the initial recipients of the Kansas Sheep Association Starter Flock Grant and that has led to his current flock of Southdown sheep. Glenn is the only full-time employee on the Farm. Jennifer is the Facilities Manager for the Kansas Department of Agriculture. Isaac is a graduate student at North Dakota State University and Tatum is a graduate student at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
Our Goal is to be the best stewards of the air, water and land we are entrusted to produce the highest quality lamb in the most sustainable way with the least stress to our livestock. Ultimately our mission is to pass our multi-generational ranch to the next generation.
